About Gaël Rouxeville
Who is Gaël Rouxeville?
Gaël was born in brittany (France), in 1970, and began drawing and painting very young. Passionnate and openminded, he graduated mechanical engineering, industrial design (ISD Valenciennes), and also fine art (with J.M. Desrues - Les Ateliers de l'ARC). Former free lance designer, he began sculpting in 1998. His style, that was already based on the "living curve", was soon liked by collectors who ordered bronze castings. After dancing, he worked on abstraction and animals, but on his own way! Handmaking passioned, he decided to improve his skills to graduate woodworking, and was then employed during 7 years as luxury cabinet maker. Then, he came back to fine art, incuding his new skills to his artworks. He also tryes to keep a little time for teaching math and design...
