About bronze casting techniques:
Casting is a very specific and technical part of the work. Several techniques can be used, always needing to mold the shape. Anticipating problems, due to the metal in fusion and the complexity of the shape, will guide the choice between sand or wax casting. While casted, the sculpture's surface is rough, and needs a lot of hand work, to get well finished, smooth and polished. Then comes the time for the patina.

LEGAL & ETHIQUE RULES ABOUT CASTING
The rules about original art-casting:
The law about art-casting is very strict: Only 8 originals are made (signature & numbers 1/8 to 8/8). These are not copies, but 8 different originals. The artist can also get 4 castings for his own use (signature & numbers I to IV). If a strong mold has been made, it has to be destroyed when the last casting has been done.
