This work was inspired by the flight of
birds, as an evocation of freedom. Going out of the frame means freeing
oneself from rules, conventions, constraints that prevent us from being
ourselves... The artist has thus created a work full of lightness, joy
and light. He offers us an original vision of the relationship between
the frame and the subject, giving, by contrast, a great dynamism to the
composition. This sculpture is very spatial, and can be happily
contemplated from all angles. It is essentially made of wood with
ingenious and discreet assemblages: light wood frame (Sycamore),
blue-grey lacquered wooden bird, polished steel supports. It goes
perfectly with a contemporary or more classic interior. Unique work, for
indoor use; no maintenance.
